By using R Clinics' services — including our website, patient portal, WhatsApp communications, and clinical care — you agree to these terms. We agree to provide care to the standards of the Jordanian Ministry of Health and to communicate honestly. You agree to provide accurate information, attend booked appointments or cancel reasonably in advance, and pay for services rendered.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment, communicating with us, or using our patient portal at app.r-clinics.com, you accept these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
R Clinics provides:
- Dental care including general dentistry, restorative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery
- Aesthetic medical treatments
- Online appointment booking through app.r-clinics.com
- Patient portal access for appointments, treatment history, and communications
- WhatsApp and email communications for appointments and care coordination
3. Account Responsibilities
When you create or are issued an account on our patient portal, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information
- Update your information when it changes (especially contact information)
- Keep your login credentials confidential
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Be responsible for all activity under your account
- Not share your account with others
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that we reasonably believe are being misused.
4. Acceptable Use of Communications
When you communicate with us through WhatsApp, email, our patient portal, or any other channel:
- Communications must relate to your care, appointments, billing, or general clinic inquiries
- You must not send abusive, harassing, threatening, or unlawful content
- You must not impersonate another person or create false identity information
- WhatsApp opt-out via "STOP" is always honored within minutes; you can re-enable by texting "START"
- For medical emergencies, do not rely on WhatsApp or email — call your local emergency services or visit a hospital
We reserve the right to terminate communications with users who repeatedly violate these standards.
5. Booking, Cancellation, and No-Show Policy
Booking: Appointments may be booked through app.r-clinics.com, by WhatsApp, by phone, or in person. Booking is subject to availability and confirmation by our team.
Cancellation: We ask that you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice when possible, so we can offer the slot to another patient.
Late arrival: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to avoid disrupting other patients' care.
No-shows: Repeated no-shows without notice may result in a no-show fee or a requirement to prepay for future appointments. We will communicate this to you before applying any such measure.
6. Payment Terms
- Fees are quoted before treatment begins. You will receive a written treatment plan and price estimate for any treatment that is not a routine consultation.
- Payment is due at the time of service unless we have agreed in writing to other arrangements.
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and major debit and credit cards (subject to availability).
- Invoices are issued in Jordanian Dinars (JOD).
- Late payments may incur a reasonable interest charge as permitted by Jordanian law.
7. Medical Disclaimer
The information on our website and in our communications is for general informational purposes. It is not medical advice and should not be used as a substitute for in-person diagnosis and treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.
In particular:
- WhatsApp and email replies do not constitute medical advice. Any clinical recommendation requires an in-person examination.
- Photos and case studies on our website show outcomes for specific patients; your individual results may differ.
- Treatment outcomes depend on many factors including your medical history, adherence to post-treatment care, and individual healing characteristics. We do not guarantee specific outcomes.
For medical emergencies, contact your local emergency services or go to the nearest hospital. Do not wait for a response from us.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Jordanian law:
- Our liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by professional negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law
9. Intellectual Property
All content on app.r-clinics.com and r-clinics.com — including text, images, logos, brand marks, and software — is owned by R Clinics or its licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may view content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, or use our content for any other purpose without our written permission.
10. Photographs and Clinical Images
We may take photographs of your treatment for your medical record. These are confidential and used only for clinical purposes unless you provide separate, explicit, written consent for any other use (such as before-and-after photos for our website, with appropriate anonymization). You can withdraw such consent at any time.
11. Third-Party Services
Our patient portal and communications rely on third-party services including but not limited to: Meta WhatsApp Business, Resend (email), Replit (hosting). Their availability is outside our direct control. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service continuity but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
12. Termination
You may stop using our services at any time. We may close your patient portal account or refuse future appointments if:
- You materially breach these Terms
- We have a clinical reason to refer you to another provider
- The therapeutic relationship has broken down in a way that cannot be repaired
We will give reasonable notice and refer you to alternative care when ending a clinical relationship, except in cases of abuse or threats to staff.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top
- Notify you of material changes by email or through the patient portal
- For changes that increase your obligations or affect your rights, give at least 30 days' notice
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our services will be resolved by the competent courts of Amman, Jordan, after first attempting good-faith resolution through direct dialogue.
